Stuck in Traffic? Time is Money! Get a carpool here.
Did you know that 30% of all commuters carpool, bike, walk or take the bus to get to work or school according to the UV-TMA's commuter survey. But for 70% of commuters, sitting in traffic is costing you money.
Driving alone to work is the most expensive way to go.
Between the cost of gas, maintenance and wear-tear on your car, your wallet is a lot lighter by the end of the week. A daily 40 mile round trip (e.g. Sunapee to Lebanon) can cost between $3,000 and $6,000 per year, depending on the price of gas and your car's fuel efficiency. (AAA) You'll save 30% or more of your commute costs by carpooling, and save 80% or more by using the FREE Advance Transit bus. In addition to helping your wallet, you'll help the environment and reduce traffic for everyone.
UV Rideshare is FREE, confidential, and you are under no obligation.
