Emergency Ride Home for registered CARPOOLERS

One of the first concerns people have about joining a carpool is the "What if..." scenario. "What if I get sick at work and have to leave early?" "What if the driver does?" "What if my kids get sick and I have to go pick them up?" "What if I have to work late?" "What if...?" The Emergency Ride Home benefit reimburses the cost of an emergency ride home* for participants of active registered UVRS carpools.

How does it Work?

In the event of an emergency, catch a bus, call a taxi, or rent a car.  Send us the receipt and we will reimburse up to $50 of the cost of your ride home in an emergency*.

*You must be registered with us before the emergency, and in an active, registered UVRS carpool. You will be responsible for any amount beyond the $50 limit.

For reimbursement, please mail the original receipt within 10 days of the emergency to:

You will be reimbursed within two weeks. The UVRS-ERH program only covers registered program members.

Reimbursement is allowed up to twice a month and up to six times per calendar year. Fraudulent requests will result in a loss of benefits.
